Follow Gravity — Finding Sound
Chapter III — Gravity
Rooting the Sound
Some notes feel like home.
Others seem to lean forward, as if they want to continue.
Music is for everyone.
Pulled differently, strung by emotion — we still meet on the strings.
Rooting C and Dm Triads on the Fretboard
The root note is the first point of orientation.
It gives the triad its name and its ground. Once the root is felt, the other tones begin to fall into place — colour, support, and shape around a center.
C major gives Do–Mi–So — D minor answers with Re–Fa–La.
